To the left of the road there is Shrapnel Valley, the plain going up from the cemetery Beach to trenches on a front line. Here the road forks. The way to the left conducts to Nek, a place where actions of the film of Peter Weir Gallipoli, and to the cemetery Walker’s Ridge are developed. The road to the right goes to the cemetery Baby 700 (to the farthest point reached by fighters of alliance on April 25), a bulky New Zealand obelisk and a Turkish memorial from 5 integral boulders on a top of a hillock of Chonkbayira (Chunuk Bair). On a Turkish memorial Ataturk’s words and the story about the successful defence of a boundary organised by it are cut on August 6-10. The place where a pocket watch of the leader has taken up blow of a splinter enemy шрапнели, also a grave of the Turkish fighter which a case have encountered during works passing here in 1990 on reconstruction of entrenchments is separately noted.
